Fern flower ring with Australian opal – US 6 1/2 (17.0)

My Fern Flower rings are inspired by a local Latvian legend. It says that on the night of Summer Solstice (traditionally 23-24 June here) the fern flower blooms, and whoever finds it will possess all sorts of riches, as well as the ability of clairvoyance and being invisible.

This version of the Fern Flower ring is set with an Australian opal with a lovely vibrant ribbon pattern going across the grey stone. As it happens with most opals, it is hard to capture the full beauty of this stone in still shots, so I encourage you to take a look at the video in the gallery of this ring.
