Determining the correct ring size is perhaps the most terrifying part of shopping for jewelry online. Therefore I try to provide as much information as possible to help you make the choice and eliminate second-guessing.

How to measure your finger
Proper ring size can only be determined with a suitable sizing tool, such as a mandrel, if you’re measuring a ring that you own, or a set of sizing rings. This can be done at most walk-in jewelry shops for free. You can also buy cheap sizing tools, including sizing rings, on Amazon or eBay.
Please, please, please don’t use a piece of paper or string, a cardboard cut-out or any other DIY method. I’ve never seen accurate results with these, and you usually end up with a ring two sizes bigger than needed. And no, I don’t accept returns and I don’t offer resizing services.
The next important thing to remember is I always mention the FIT of a ring, not it’s actual size, unless stated otherwise. E.g. if you see a ring with a wide band and it says “US 7”, it will fit a US 7, no matter what it measures on the mandrel.
Many wide rings actually fit more than one size due to their finger-hugging qualities. Often I provide the size as a 1/4 size gap, e.g. US 6 1/2 – 6 3/4, which means that the ring will work well with both sizes and anything in between.
You may notice that some wider made-to-order rings include instructions, such as “add 1/4 to your ring size”. Please do this!
However, if there is no info on sizing up, it means that the ring fits true to size.
